A set of acura "crash bolts" kept me stock legal and gave me 1.8 degrees of neg camber. Just that had a HUGE affect on my outside tire wear. On most days I was running the V-12s right to the edge of the tread blocks with 41-43psi and setting my rears off of that.

Factory camber or "crash bolts" are 100% stock legal.

I wise racer never shares his or her assets/setups. At least, no one at the Rolex 24 did. Straight cloak and dagger tactics between pit crews.

Damn, I got to starting paying closer attention. I'll blame it on the lack of sleep I normally have on AutoX weekends. But I am hoping that crash bolts will improve my cars tire eatting problems lol.

When we were admiring your tires 3rd degree burns at LES I told you to buy them. THey were somethign like 20 bucks. I guess you can get 2 sets to replace top and bottom on each side to get a bit more but I've heard from some on the RSX foum that they may be more likely to slip.

20$?!?! Is this the first time in history that SUBARU MADE A REASONABLY PRICED PART!?

MINE WHERE 8$ FOR THE PAIR.

I'm going to go down six 2$ pints at Fox and Hound now with the money I saved not owning a Honda.

Hey look! i got a topic with my name on it somehow.

I thought 20 bucks for two eccentric bolts and nuts was a little stupid too.... but anything cheaper than a tank of gas is.... well.... cheap enough not to complain about.

My trailing arm bolt was frozen on the STi preventing replacing the wheel bearing. The bushing was only $8. However, the bolt was $45!!! Don't be complaining about $20 bolts.

YIkes! Was the bolt made out of unobtainium and powdercoated with angel farts!?

Side note- my wife just sent me an email promo from the k-series parts website. Last run of club RSX Injen CAIs are on sale for only $229! Coincidentally, I have a gift card for them for $100 and a $100 mastercard gift card thingy I got for christmas! (And free shipping!)

I might as well do SOMETHING to the car since I'm in STF now chasing a couple of built Mazdas...

You're chasing Gary, not us anymore. Whenever you beat us we'll use the excuse 'saving our good tires for pro events'. Must be nice to have a wife... Not.

My wife is the one who told me to sell the truck, buy a car and go auto crossing since I'd always wanted to do it. B)
